Do you have trouble breaking 80 consistently? Do you have a repeatable golf swing, but your ball sometimes flies too high or too low, or wanders to the left or right?
Perhaps this is happening because your driver and golf irons do not fit you properly. This problem can really affect you especially if you are taller or shorter than average.
The solution could be to get your golf clubs custom fitted. Properly fitted golf irons and drivers just feel better and play better, much like tailor-made clothes feel better and wear better than something bought off the rack.
When you play with clubs which are just right for your golf swing, you will make better contact with the ball. You will be able to hit the ball straighter and more consistently than ever before.
Custom fitted drivers and golf irons give you a full range to choke up and down the grip for better accuracy. Experienced players report that they can drop their handicaps by two or three strokes in just a month of playing with custom fitted golf clubs.
Will custom fitted golf irons benefit everyone? Not necessarily. If you have NOT mastered your golf swing technique sufficiently to get a repeatable swing, then fitted clubs are not for you. In this case, you are better off investing the money in golf lessons.
Now back to the custom fitting clubs, since everyone has different hand sizes, different swings with different with different speeds, custom fitted drivers and golf irons can really help you to make sure that your club hits with the sole parallel to the ground on impact with the golf ball. This is why taller players often get their golf irons bent upright, while shorter players get their clubs bent flat.
The cost of custom fitting can be quite reasonable. Given the cost of playing golf in most places, you can easily cover the extra cost of the fitting by skipping a few rounds of golf. The extra consistency and accuracy you gain, and the added pleasure of playing better is well worth it.
If you have the budget to spare, you may want to consider getting your fittings done by a member of a professional club fitters society rather than your local golf store. At the very least, these people would have better training than the salesman at your golf store. And they definitely would not be biased.
For some of you, a golf shop with trained staff and high-tech golf swing analyzer might be a good choice. It is true that not everyone can afford new custom fitted golf irons. If you buy second hand golf clubs, you should at least get them re-gripped for your hands.
Being able to grip the golf club correctly will go a long way towards improving your golf swing and lowering your golf handicap.
One way to get free custom fittings when buying used golf irons is to attend the demo days of golf club manufacturers. Just check out their websites and go to their next demo in your area. Hit as many clubs as you can and get your fitting. With your written or printed stats in hand, just look for used clubs with a similar setup. Obviously, if you get fitted for Pings, then you need to look for used Ping golf irons.
As you can see, playing with properly fitted golf irons can greatly improve your golf swing. Your clubs will feel better in your hands, and you will hit the ball more accurately and farther.

Hi Golfer
In my customer surveys, I have learned that driving the ball off the tee is probably the part of the game that most of us average golfers have the most difficulty with.
I found this article written by Gary Player.
http://www.break80golf.com/driving/garyp layer.html
It’s very good and you should take this information and let it soak into your subconscious.
Gary Player is one of my favorites because he is small but yet he kept up with and beat the best of his day, including Jack Nicklaus.
Enjoy!
Craig

Hi Golfer , Up to now we have focused on technique to conserve as much of the energy you already generate in your swing by avoiding physical breakdowns.
Once you have mastered these techniques and have optimized your current swing distance potential, your next step is to increase the energy you can generate in your swing by increasing the range and power of your “natural” swing through simple golf fitness routines. In the last?lesson I covered some of the physics that govern the energy generated in the swing, the prime one being: ?Energy = Torque x Angle of rotation
In this?lesson, we are?going?to focus on this equation to:
1) Increase swing torque by strengthening the muscle groups. 2) Increase the angle of rotation of your “natural” swing by improving the flexibility of the muscle groups.
